나이지리아 정치인, 화대 거부에 폭행당해

 

 

이번 주말, 델타 주 아사바의 매춘 여성들이 한 고위 정치인을 폭행했다.

폭행의 이유는 그가 성매매를 하고도 그에 합당한 대가를 지불하지 않았다는 것이었다.

목격자는 Nnebisi 거리에서 세 명 정도의 성매매 여성들이 남성을 끌고다녔고,

“해 준 것에 대해 지불하라.”고 외치고 있었다고 증언했다.

목격자는 남성의 친구가 그를 도와주기 전 이미 남성은 옷이 찢어진 채로 성매매 여성들에게 용서를 빌고 있었으며,

모든 행인들과 운전자들의 이목이 그 소동에 쏠렸다고 상황을 설명했다.

분개한 성매매 여성은 통신원을 통해 그들이 아부자에서 ‘일’을 하러 왔으며

새벽에 만난 첫 손님인 그 정치인과 협상을 통해 정해진 가격에 합의했었다고 밝혔다.

이 고위정치인은 30,000나이라를 지불하기로 했었지만, 계약을 존중하지 않고 약속을 어겼기 때문에 나쁜 상황을 맞게 되었다.

Nigeria: Prostitution - Girls Beat Up Politician Over Failure to Pay Up

A group of commercial sex workers operating in Asaba, Delta State, at the weekend beat up a top politician in the state over his refusal to pay for services rendered by some commercial sex workers.

 

Eye witness said that the prostitutes, numbering about three, along the popular Nnebisi road, descended on the politician, held captive and began to drag him along the popular road, shouting, "pay us our money for the service we do for you."

 

The eye witness account also said that the situation attracted the attention of several motorists including passers-by to the scene after his clothes had been torn to shreds before his friends who witnessed the disgraceful act moved to rescue him, while pleading for forgiveness from the sex workers.

 

The aggrieved prostitutes who spoke to our correspondent, claimed that they came from Abuja to do "runs", adding that the politician was the first customer they met during the wee hours and they negotiated and agreed on a fixed price.

 

The top politician was said to have agreed to pay them N30,000. However, things went bad after the politician failed to honour the agreement.
