한국가스공사, 모잠비크 진출

 

 

이탈리아의 에너지 회사 국립탄화수소공사(ENI)가 한국가스공사(Kogas)와 협력계약을 맺었다고 발표했다. 이것은 모잠비크(Mozambique) 카부델가두 주(Cabo Delgado)의 북쪽에 위치한 로부마 분지(Rovuma Basin)의 제4구역 개발을 촉진하기 위한 것이다. 

 

 ENI는 제4구역에 85조ft3(위첨자)의 천연가스가 있다고 예상하고 자원을 추출할 계획을 진행시키고 있다.

부유식 천연액화가스(이하 FLNG) 공장이 설립될 예정이며 KBR-대우조선해양 컨소시엄과 프로젝트 확정인전 프로젝트기간(FEED:Frond End Engineering Design) 계약이 체결되었다. 회사는 내년까지 FLNG공장의 설계, 조달, 건설, 설치, 시운전(EPCIC) 계약을 체결한다.

제4구역의 개발은 ENI가 50프로의 지분을 차지하고 있으며, 중국기업인 CNPC가 20프로, 한국가스공사, 갈프 에너르지아(Galp Energia), 그리고 모잠비크 국영가스공사(ENH:Mozambique's National Hydrocarbon Company)가 각각 10프로의 지분을 가지고 있다.

Mozambique: ENI Signs LNG Deal With Kogas

 

 

London — The Italian energy company ENI has announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with the Korean company Kogas to facilitate the development of Area Four of the Rovuma Basin, off the coast of the northern Mozambican province of Cabo Delgado.

 

ENI estimates that Area Four holds 85 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, and the company is working on plans to develop the resource.

 

It is planning to build a floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant and has awarded a front end engineering and design contract to a consortium of the companies KBR and Daewoo Shipbuilding and Engineering.

 

Next year the company will award a contract for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) the FLNG plant.

 

ENI is the operator of Area Four with a fifty per cent share. The other partners in the venture are the Chinese company CNPC (with a twenty per cent stake), Kogas, Galp Energia and Mozambique's National Hydrocarbon Company ENH (each with a ten per cent stake).
